The Altos ( or some of them ) resting during the rehearsal to-night afterr giving their all in the Huron Carol. We had a very relaxed and enjoyable session with everyone doing their best and the Boss ( that's him in the background, talking to Annette) being very nice to us. A pleasant change. Even the Basses got away without the usual flogging. I must try and find out what he is on. We got thru a lot of work and sang many of the songs we will be doing in Vienna and here at Christmas.
Greetings to the overseas branch in the Canaries and best wishes for a speedy recovery to our Chairman who is hors de combat tonight.
